Soft Plastics Over the past 30+ years that I have been fishing with grubs I have found one soft plastic that stands out from all others. Their durability and ability to consistently put fish in the boat has made me a believer. Cotee isn't just another lure company. They are a group of fisherman that are looking for ways to catch more fish. We just happen to benefit from their time and efforts by being able to use their products. Here are a few of the Cotee lures I use most often: As many of you know my philosophy with lures is that most of them were designed to catch fisherman. This is defiantly an exception. When I first saw this lure it was something a friend of mine had tied on the end of his line. I couldn't help but make fun of him. After a hour or so and he had put a snook, a few reds and a few trout in the boat, he was the one laughing. This lure is one of the most versatile soft plastics I have ever used. You can walk the dog just below the surface with it. You can bounce it like a grub. How you work it is all dependent on how you rig it. It rigs weedless via a built in hook pocket, casts a mile and is a perfect "Skip-Bait" for getting up under overhanging brush. Originally designed for largemouth bass, it's deadly on stripers and other freshwater species and has a fanatical following among saltwater anglers stalking snook, redfish, tarpon and trout. Here are a few ways to rig your Reel Magic: Cotee's method

Tougher than the average tail, 3" Chubby Grubs offer the best combination of action and durability when toothy or aggressive fish are your target.
For the perfect baitfish imitation, the 3" Swimmin' Glitter Shad is hard to beat. It features a swimming tail that vibrates as it moves.
A classic in design, our 3" Swirl Tails do all the work for you. The tail spins and twirls every time the lure is moved.
